An electrophotographic printing machine in which a belt (10) is supported by a fixed amounting (18, 20, 22) and a movable mounting (11). In the inoperative position, the fixed mounting (18, 20, 22) maintains at least a portion of the belt (10) generally planar. During operation, the movable mounting (11) deflects the planar portion of the belt (10) to the operative position. In order to remove the belt (10), the movable mounting (11) is returned to the inoperative position with the belt (10) being undeflected. This facilitates removal of the belt (10) from the fixed mounting (18, 20, 22) and movable mounting (11). |
