The invention relates to a colour copier, in which powder images of the individual colour separations are produced on a process cylinder successively in time. Each powder image produced is transferred directly onto the copying paper guided past. For this purpose, the copying paper is transported back into an initial position after each transfer of a powder image, without hereby touching the process cylinder. After all the powder images have been recorded, the copying paper is fed to a fixing device. <IMAGE>
