PURPOSE:To perform compensation for the number of sheet, page sequence collation automatically even when a jam arises by providing the 2nd annular route which intersects with the mid-way of the 1st route or guides and original directly to an original handling part and the 3rd route which turns over the front and rear sides of the original. CONSTITUTION:The lowermost original 530 of 30 sheets of originals placed on a tray 4 in order of page is delivered and is exposed on a glass plate 3, whereafter the original is stored in a tray 15 through a conveyance path 11. When a jam arises during this time, the original 530 is fed to a bypass 32 by changing over a guide device 21. On the other hand, the next original 529 which is already in the exposure position is delivered out to the path 11 and is kept standing by to compensate the copying of the original 530, whereafter the original 529 is exposed. In the case of the double-faced original, a guide device 25 is changed over to feed the original to an inverting path 26 after the end of copying of the 1st side and further the original is turned backward, is turned over and is exposed. If a jam arises during this time, the copying for insufficient sheets is compensated by changing over the devices 21, 25. Thus the number of sheets, page sequence collation is compensated automatically. |
