PURPOSE:To reduce the down-time accompanied with the replacement of a head disc assembly, by providing a notch filter included in a servo access system of a device to each head disc assembly side. CONSTITUTION:The notch filter 2 forming the servo access system is provided at the head disc assembly 4' side. In mounting the assembly 4' on a magnetic disc device main body, the notch filter 2 is connected via a connector 9. In the adjustment process of the factory, the attenuation frequency of the notch filter is set optimizingly, the adjustment of the notch filter is not required in the replacement of the head disc assembly, at the set plase of the device and allowing to reduce the down-time at the replacement. |
