PURPOSE:To obtain the pinion equipped with clutch-outer with high production efficiency, accuracy, tooth surface smoothness and durability, accompanying with no noise generation by a method wherein the pinion gear part is formed by forging. CONSTITUTION:The pinion gear part 35 is formed above a clutch part 33. A large number of teeth 35a are extendedly provided uniformly and radially on the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical tube 37 bored with a center hole 34 therewithin at the pinion gear part 35. The end 35a, at the clutch part 33 side out of both ends of each of teeth 35a is formed so as to continue to the outer surface of the bottom part 33c of a bowl-shape clutch part 33. A recess 33a, in which one-way clutch mechanism elements are installed, is formed on the bottom of the clutch part 33. Semi-circular projections 33b protruded inwardly are formed on the inner side surface of the recess 33a. |
