PURPOSE:To improve durability by attaching a reinforcing material in a thin metal inner cylinder forming a heat resistant container of a Dewar's structure to reinforce a weak defect in the structure. CONSTITUTION:Outer and inner cylinders 22, 23 forming a heat resistant container 21 are made of a metal plate formed of stainless steel, coolant 28 such as liquefied nitrogen is contained in the cylinder 23, and a photoelectric converter 26 which is arranged through a coolant base 25 opposed to a transparent window 24 of the cylinder 22 on the bottom of the cylinder 26 is cooled to a low temperature and operated. In order to reinforce the mechanical strength of the cylinder 23, a pipe-shaped stainless steel reinforcing post 31 is fixed by soldering berween the base 25 and an upper surface plate 29. |
