An appliance for the unwinding of thread contained in rolls involves a rotational capstan (2) on a portable frame (1) displaying, partly, a support base, or plate (4), designed to hold a suitable roll of thread in a cover, and partly a cylinder core (5) projecting vertically upwards from the support base and designed to be inserted into the centre-hole in the roll with the aim of retaining this on the support base and, in conjunction with the unwinding of the thread, ensure that both the roll and the capstan continue to rotate. A guide element (18) is associated with the capstans, which is secured adjacent to the central frame (1), and designed to facilitate the running of the extracted thread during unwinding. Said frame (1), involves two capstans (2, 2') which are each separately connected to an erect tube (8), which opens out at the top, and makes up a part of the frame and forms a fulcrum for the cylinder core (5). Apart from the first mentioned frame, or main frame (1), the appliance also encompasses, likewise, two further capstans (2'', 2''') displaying a frame, or additional frame (3), whose base projects down as two tap elements (19, 19') designed to engage with the upward facing tubes (8) on the main frame. Both frames (1, 3) are lockable in relation to each other for the formation of a combined movable unit, in which the guide elements for the four individual capstans are located close to each other, not just laterally but also vertically, as well as diametrically, all of which is ensured by using extremely small angles between the four threads which are contemporaneously extracted from the rolls.<IMAGE> |
