<p>The arrangement is intended for securing a kitchen sink-bowl or the like in a cut-out of a work top by placing it therein and filling the gap between bowl and cut-out with adhesive. The bowl is placed upside down with its outward flange resting on a resilient support, such as an inflated flexible hose, which is locally treated with an adhesive repelling agent. The work top is now placed with its upper face resting on this support and the cut-out surrounding the bowl after which the gap is filled with a rapid-setting adhesive, pref. polyurethane which may be a soft thermosetting elastomer.</p> |
