PURPOSE:To prevent a noise jetting of an ink from a surface of a support base which surface is opposed to a gate electrode and a recording paper and enable to enhance printing quality, by a method wherein needle form electrodes are provided on the lower side of a support base, and ink-raising magnets are provided on the lower side of the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of the needle form electrodes 1 are alignedly fixed on the lower side of the support base 2, a surface of the base 2 opposed to the gate electrode 5 is cut diagonally, the first ink-raising magnet 3a is fixed on the lower side of the electrodes 1, and the second ink-raising magnet 3b is provided on the lower side of the magnet 3a so as to form a slit form opening part. When a magnetic ink 4 is supplied by a pump 10 and the pump 10 is stopped, a combination of a head H, the gravity applied to the ink 4 and a magnetic force developed at a part in proximity to the tip of the electrode 1 produce such effect that the ink 4 is not left on the surface of the base 2 opposed to the gate electrode 5, and an appropriate meniscus for jet recording is formed. Accordingly, a raised part of the ink 4 formed at the tip of the electrode 1 is jetted by a jet-controlling means 7, while noise jetting of the ink from the surface of the base 2 opposed to the gate electrode 5 is prevented from occurring, and therefore, printing quality is improved. |
