PURPOSE:To keep constantly the resin pressure in the extruder for thermoplastic resin etc. by a method in which the torpedo facing the inner surface of an adapter and fixed onto the tip of a screw capably of advancing and retracting is energized by pressure regulator made of elastic bodies. CONSTITUTION:A torpedo 17 energized by leaf springs 16 is inserted into a round groove 15 in the tip of a screw 11 and faces the inner surface of an adapter 12, thereby forming a resin passage 14. The stopper 18 fixed to the rear part of said torpedo becomes attachable to the clamping nut 19 screwed on the tip of said screw 11. When this leaf spring 16 preliminarily pressurizes the torpedo 17 equivalently to e.g. 100kg/cm<2> which is defined by positioning of the stopper 18 and, if the resin pressure is intended to elevate to e.g. 150kg/cm<2> in order to increase-extruded amount, the torpedo 17 is retracted by the pressure difference 50kg/cm<2> and the gap between the adapter 12 and the torpedo 17 is increased, whereby the resin pressure at the tip of the screw is balanced at about 100kg/cm<2>. |
