摘要 PURPOSE:To easily hold a high vacuum degree at an electronic beam path and the vicinity of a weld, by seal-welding in advance a groove part of an object to be welded, and executing the welding by evacuating the inside of the groove part and holding it under high vacuum, in an electronic beam welding method of a vacuum system. CONSTITUTION:First of all, all welds of the surface, the reverse side and both end faces of a weld line of an object to be welded 1 are subjected to seal-welding 11 by a regular welding method such as manual welding, MIG welding etc. Subsequently, an open part 15 is formed by eliminating a part of the welding 11, a shielding body 6 of an electron gun 4 is installed in this part, and the inside of the groove part is evacuated and made to vacuum by an evacuating pump 3. As a result, the inside of the groove part and the gun 4 are kept under vacuum completely, and intrusion of the air from the outside can be prevented. In this way, after electronic beam welding is started, the gun 4 provided with the shielding body 6 or the object to be welded 1 is moved, and partial joint penetration welding for melting to the vicinity of the welding 11 of the reverse side of the object to be welded 1 is executed by the electronic beam, by which an electronic beam weld 16 is formed.
