PURPOSE:To prevent an output pressure change which would otherwise take place as a result of temperature change, by arranging such that a positive pressure modulator solenoid suitable for use in a control system of a supercharger attached to an engine may preset its output pressure by an input electric current of a solenoid coil. CONSTITUTION:While a valve member 30 is closed, energization of a solenoid valve 19 may cause a moving core 21 to move in the right direction by a suction force generated in a hollow iron core 17 in opposition against a spring 22, and a valve first integrally formed with the moving core 21 to open the valve member 30. Thus a positive pressure is introduced from a positive pressure port 13 into a positive pressure outlet port 14, while simultaneously it is supplied to a positive pressure chamber 27 via passages 35 and 37. Upon a positive pressure inside the positive pressure chamber 27 achieving a preset level as determined by a suction force of iron core 17 or an input electric current of the solenoid coil 19, a diaphragm 24 is caused to move in the left direction together with the moving core 21 and the valve lifter 29 in opposition against a suction force of the iron core 17, and the valve member 30 is energized in the closing direction. |
