PURPOSE:To prevent thermal deformation of a flange and also to execute fine adjustment of a flange face angle, by projecting a short tube stuck to a flange so as to bend it to the inside of a hole of a member, and welding it. CONSTITUTION:When providing a flange 2 for fitting a pipe, a measuring instrument, etc., in the vicinity of a vacuum vessel 1, a short tube 3 stuck to the flange 2 to the inside of the vacuum vessel 1, and the end part of the short tube 3 of the opposite side to the flange 2 is bent in a channel shape to the outside of the short tube 3 so as to become a tube 4 whose diameter is a little larger than that of the short tube 3. The end part of this tube 4 and the vacuum vessel 1 are welded in a weld 6. In this way, as for an end face 5 of the flange 2, its distance to the weld 6 becomes long, it is scarcely influenced by heat, and thermal deformation such as warp, distortion, etc. is not generated. Also, an angle theta of a flange face 5 can be finely adjusted by inserting a wedge-like small piece 7 into an air-gap between the short tube 3 and the tube 4. |
