PURPOSE:To prevent a flange from slipping out of the pulley main body even if the pressure is applied in the direction of the axis of the pulley main body, by a structure wherein a flange fitting groove is concavely provided onto a flange fitting part in order to fix the flange in said flange fitting groove. CONSTITUTION:In order to install a flange 6 in a flange fitting groove 4, a flange fitting part 3 is fitted into the large bore 10 of the flange 6, and after that, the inner peripheral border of the flat plate part 7 of the flange 6 is pressed with a pressing tool 15 at a plurality of positions in the circumferential direction. Consequently, the inner peripheral border of the flat plate part 7 of the flange 6 is pressed so as to thrust into the fitting groove 4 in the direction indicated with the arrow Q, resulting in tightly fitting the tip portion of the flat plate part 7 into the fitting groove 4 in both the direction of an pulley axis and the direction normal to the pulley axis. Accordingly, the inner peripheral border of the flat plate part 7 of the flange 6 is securely fixed to the fitting groove 4 with a very few probability of its slipping out of the pulley. |
