PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily exchange an ink tank, in the ink tank of a printer, by fixing a handle member consisting of an engaging part having a bulb shaped bulge with a tapered hole and a handle part to the ink tank by a handle fixing pin with an air hole. CONSTITUTION:The engaging part 5 having a bulb shaped bulge provided to a handle member 3 is pushed into the hole provided to the upper surface of an ink tank 1 while a handle fixing pin 2 is inserted through the hole 6 of said engaging part 5 to fix said handle member 3. Because the hole 6 of the engaging part 5 is formed into a tapered shape from the intermediate part thereof, the bulge of the engaging part is further enlarged outwardly when the pin 2 is inserted and, when the handle part 4 is grasped to be drawn up in detaching the ink tank 1, the detachment of the handle member 3 from the ink tank 1 is certainly prevented. In addition, an air vent hole is provided to the pin 2 to prevent the rising in the internal pressure of the ink tank 1. By this structure, the exchange of the ink tank is facilitated and, if the color of the handle member is made the same to that of an ink, color discrimination is enabled. |
