PURPOSE:To improve the combustion performance by combining the heat insulating action and the catalytic substance action of the titled device by a method wherein more than one kind of metallic oxide selected among Mn, Ni, Cu and the like are covered on the around of the top part, at least rear side in rotating direction, of a rotor flank surface. CONSTITUTION:A triangular shape rotor 4 is provided inside of a casing 3 which composed of a rotor housing 1 and a side housing 2. Variable capacity working chambers 5a-5c are formed between said rotor 4 and an inner periphery surface 1a of said rotor housing 1. An inlet port 6 is opened on the inner surface of said side housing 2. An ignition plug 7 is provided on the one side part of said rotor housing 1, also an exhaust port 8 is provided on the other side part of said rotor housing 1. In such structure, more than one kind of metallic oxide 10 selected among Mn, Ni, Cu, Co, Cr, Fe and Zn are covered on a rotor flank surface 4a which includes the surface from the end part of the rear side in rotating direction of a combustion chamber 4b to a rotor top end 4c. |
