PURPOSE:To decrease the unnecessary processing at a control station and to improve the quality of service in terms of connection time, by stopping relaying of a control signal to the control station at a base station when no idle channel exists in the base station. CONSTITUTION:When the control signal from a mobile station applied to an input terminal 6 is detected at a radio start signal detector 7, and when an idle channel exists, an AND circuit 19 between the detector 7 and a controller 18 detecting the presence of the empty channel is turned off and a signal input gate 8 is turned off. Then, a start signal generator 10 for a counter control station and a bit counter 11 are started and a start signal is transmitted from an output terminal 14. When no idle channel exists, since the start signal from the detector 7 is stopped with the AND circuit 19, a signal input gate 8 is turned on, and no control signal is relayed to the control station. |
