PURPOSE:To secure the seal, by forming a groove in an outer circumferential surface of a pressure plug in which an O-ring can be fitted, and connecting the groove with a bore in communication with a hole drilled in a shaft core thereby a compressing fluid can press the O-ring. CONSTITUTION:The groove 1b in which an O-ring is fitted along a seat ring 8 is formed in the outer circumferential surface of a pressure plug 1, the communication bore 1b in communication with the hole drilled in a shaft core is connected with a groove 1b, and the O-ring 1c is inserted in the groove 1b. Thus the compressing fluid from the communication bore 1a forces the O-ring 1c to the seat ring 8 so that the O-ring can firmly be fitted in a gap between the seat ring 8 and the pressure plug 1 to secure the seal. Since the pressure to be applied can be freely selected, if leakage from the plug part is discovered, the leakage can be prevented by controlling the pressure to be applied. |
