PURPOSE:To obtain a wood grain pattern with a large unit length without using a press plate having a large diameter, by combining a plurality of press plates having different circumferential length with appropriate wood grain pattern elements. CONSTITUTION:The press plate 1 having a circumferential length A has wood grain pattern elements G1, G2, G3 arranged, for example, in sections (a), (d), (g), while the press plate 3 having a circumferential length B has wood grain pattern elements G3, G4, G5 arranged, for example, in sections (c), (e), (h) so that, when a sheet is printed by using the press plates 1 and 3, the wood grain patterns G1-G6 are not overlapped with each other within a length D equal to the least common multiple of the circumferential length A and the circumferential length B. When the same sheet is printed by using the press plates 1 and 3 having the thus arranged wood grain pattern elements G1-G6, a decorative sheet provided with a unit pattern having the length D equal to the least common multiple of the circumferential lengths A and B can be obtained. |
