PURPOSE:To form document information being simple and excellent in the operability, by converting figure information into character code information, displaying it on a display at the same time and editing the document mixed with characters and figure. CONSTITUTION:A figure information input section 1 is a transmission section of a facsimile. A character code information input section 2 is a keyboard or the like. The figure information is converted into the character code information at a figure-character code converting section 4. The figure information from the input section 1 converted into the same code form as the character code form and the character code information inputted from the input section 2 are stored in a character code information memory 5. The memory content is displayed on the display 3. First, an original 6 of a figure part is formed and stored in a memory 5 in the form of character codes and drawn on the display 3 as the information 8. Thus, the operator has only to input the character information represented in a document 7 from the character code information input section. |
