Foldable roof for a convertible vehicle

Folding top for a cabriolet vehicle comprises a first roof part (1) lying in the closed covering position on an opening rear element (10) of the vehicle, a second roof part (2) pivotably mounted on the vehicle and arranged in a closed covering position in front of the first roof part in the direction of travel, and a third roof part (3) arranged in a closed covering position in front of the second roof part in the direction of travel. The first roof part can be lifted from the rear element. The third roof part moves over the second roof part. An independent claim is also included for an alternative folding top. Preferred Features: The third roof part and the first roof part are connected by a forced-control device. The first roof part is moveably held on the second roof part.
