PURPOSE:To attain the mounting of a large-sized expanding type offset reflecting mirror, by fixing an antenna reflecting mirror along the shape of a satellite main body splittingly, using a mounted space of a launching rocket effectively. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror plane is split into a center shell 1 and two arched-shape shells 2, and the shells 1, 2 are linked with a hinge 3. The shell 1 is fitted to a satellite main body with a hinge 4. At launching, the shell 1 is turned over the satellite main body and the shells 2 are bent for compact mounting. In releasing the antenna through the operation of a fixed opening device 6 such as an explosion bolt on an orbit, the shells 2 are expanded with the spring force provided for the hinge 3 and form the mirror surface incorporatedly with the surface of the shell 1. In releasing a fix opening device 5 further, the antenna is expanded to a prescribed angle with the spring and motor equipped with the hinge 4 to form a desired offset mirror surface. |
