PURPOSE:To dispense with a dust-collecting cover and enable the polishing of even the corner of a workpiece, by providing members of polishing material in the form of a screw at the bottom of a rotary plate to suck ground chips centripetally. CONSTITUTION:A rotary plate 16 shaped as a dish is screw-engaged with a rotary cyliner 14 open at both the ends and provided under a fan 10, which is rotated horizontally. A suction hole 17 in the central part of the rotary plate 16 communicates with a discharge pipe 8. Members of hard polishing material 19 are provided at appropriate intervals in the form of a screw on the lower horizontal peripheral part 18 of the rotary plate 16 so that air passages 20 are defined. As a result, ground chips are efficiently sucked into a dust collector through the air passages 20, a suction hole 22 and the discharge pipe 8 by the fan 10. |
