PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for a welding step and to simplify a flat motor by spirally winding and laminating while punching slots at a steel strip and arc welding two positions so that the welding beats become in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Steel strips are spirally winding and laminated while punching slots at the strips, the slots are matched and a wound-rotor is manufactured. Two welding torches which are provided at an interval substantially equal to the inner diameter R are simultaneously moved in parallel irrespective of the winding and laminating directions of the steel strips 4 of the core 3 to arc weld in one step, thereby fixing the strips 4 with two beats 5. In this manner, the time required for the welding step can be shortened without change in the strength from the conventional one, and an electric rotary machine can be simplified. |
