PURPOSE:To attain music reproduction and picture reproduction with high quality, by recording digital video signal from a color still picture based on a component encoding system and recording a header signal for the reproduction so as to switch the picture to the other still picture without stopping the correction of screen, partial dynamic picture and movement of it. CONSTITUTION:In the digital video signal picked up from a switching circuit, a header in 12-word and a component encoded digital video signal for 2H's share of 684 words, for example, are synthesized alternately in time series, and this time serial synthesis signal is split for each picture element data of a picture element group at each prescribed number of rows or columns adjacent. At the head of each split signal, a code which designates the write in either one of a display memory circuit reading out picture element data during display or a non-display memory circuit writing the picture element data during non-display, and a header signal having a synchronizing signal 20 form the digital video signal. The synchronizing signal 20 is arranged at the 1st one-word of the header signal and various discrimination codes are arranged on the 2nd word of the header signal next to the signal 20. |
