PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for reheating the treated gas in the stage of releasing the same to the atmosphere through a flue and to improve denitration and desulfurization efficiency by combining dry denitration and dry desulfurization. CONSTITUTION:The combustion gas from a boiler 1 is first supplied to a denitration treatment by an ammonia reduction method. The treatment is accomplished at 300-400 deg.C temp. in the 2nd reactor 2 packed therein with the catalyst formed of a metallic oxide such as titanium oxide into an optional shape such as a pellet, spherical, tubular, plate or honeycomb shape as a fixed bed. Since the denitration rate in the 1st reactor 2 is 60-80%, unreacted NOx, NH3 and SOx exist in the outflow gas from the reactor. The outflow gas is cooled to around 150 deg.C with an air heater 3, and is removed of dust with a dust collector 4, whereafter the gas is subjected to a denitration and desulfurization treatment by a carbonaceous adsorbent method in the 2nd reactor 5. Activated carbon is packed in the 2nd reactor 5, and the outflow gas from the 1st reactor is brought into contact with the fluidized bed thereof in orthogonal flow.
|
