PURPOSE:To prepare oxygen-containing water having particular properties and effects, by preparing an ozone-containing air using a mesh electrode, and absorbing said air in purified water having specific characteristics and obtained by the treatment with active carbon, etc. CONSTITUTION:Water such as city water is treated with ion exchange resin and/ or activated carbon to obtain purified water having a specific conductivity of about 15-35muOMEGA<-1>/cm and pH of about 7.2-7.4. Separately, air is introduced through the inlet 1a into the container 1 furnished with alternately disposed mesh electrodes 3a and 3b, and sinusoidal alternating voltage of about 5,000V is applied between the electrodes 3a and 3b to obtain air containing large amount of ozone from the outlet 1b. The purified water and the ozone-containing air are pressed into the sprayer 4 through the tube 7 and the tube 11, respectively, and the water is sprayed through the nozzle 5 into the collection vessel 6. The oxygen-containing water having a constant pH value of between about 7.5 and 8.0 and a dissolved oxygen concentration of about 8-11ppm can be prepared by this process. |
