PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a launching base by a method in which a temporary stage with a vertically moving base is erected on the sea, a long and large structure is built up on the vertically moving base, which is brought down to the sea and the structure launched to the sea. CONSTITUTION:A pair of fixed bases 2 are erected in mutually facing manner on the sea near the land. A vertically moving base 3 is placed on the mobile bracket 4 of the fixed bases 2 and a vertically moving device 5 consisting of a autotension winch 6 and a vertically moving unit 7 is provided on the fixed bases 2 to make up a temporary stage 1. Then, a long and large structure A previously produced in half-completed state is placed on the vertically moving base 3 from the land to complete the production work. After the completion of the work, the bracket 4 is removed, the vertically moving device 5 is operated, the vertically moving base 3 is brought down to a given depth as shown by an imaginary line in the sea S, and the structure A is launched. By this, the production equipment and the launching equipment can be unified and the cost can thus be reduced. |
