PURPOSE:To obtain a portable disconnection testing machine which can be used in a job site for laying a cable, by forming a core wire extracting part for automatically extracting a core wire of the cable and connecting it to a necessary electrode, by an electric disk, as one body with the testing machine. CONSTITUTION:An electric disk 13 provided as one body on a housing 1 is turned by connecting one core wire of a cable to an earth terminal 33 provided on the testing machine housing 1. As a result, the core wire is extracted successively to a groove 13a of the disk 13, and the core wire whose extraction is detected by an edge-like electrode is connected to a fixed electrode 25 through a spring electrode 23. Subsequently, the core wire is brought to a disconnection test successively. By this small-sized constitution formed as one body, by which the core wire is extracted and connected automatically, it is possible to obtain a portable disconnection testing machine which can be used in a job site for laying a cable in a narrow space, too. |
