The toy comprises in combination large blocks and small connecting blocks. The large blocks are composed of large units blocks integrally joined together and each comprising a large hollow square pillar and a large circular pillar part projecting integrally from the top of the square pillar. The connecting blocks are composed of small connecting unit blocks integrally joined together and comprising a medium sized hollow square pillar and a circular pillar part containing four small circular pillars. The small circular pillars are arranged so that they each make contact with two adjoining inner wall surfaces of the square pillars of another block, so that the large blocks and small connecting blocks can be fitted together.
