PURPOSE:To obtain a light-weight, inexpensive liquid ink-type dot printer having an easy drivability and an easy processability for its small tube by a method in which each small tube of a synthetic resin is connected with an ink supply source by a tube, and a driving solenoid is attached to each small tube. CONSTITUTION:Plural synthetic resin small tubes 6 are slidably supported on guiders 7, 8, and 9 in a printing head 5. Between an ink tank 13 and the rear ends of each small tube 6 is connected with a flexible tube 14, ink 15 in the tank 13 is supplied to each small tube 6 and directed to the tip portion 6a of the small tubes 6 by a capillary phenomenon. When a solenoid 10 is excited in comply with a printing command, an armature 11 is attracted against the force of a spring 12, the small tubes 6 are advanced, and printing is made on a printing paper 4. |
