PURPOSE:To eliminate mutual interference of multiplex signals and to transmit the multiplex signals efficiently, by providing a circuit in synchronizing with a frame signal on a loop and separating a time slot multiplex signal and a packet signal, and a circuit multiplexing the respective signals. CONSTITUTION:An input signal from an optical fiber 1 is applied to a switch section 3 via optical repeaters 2a, 2b, and the time slot multiplexing signal and the packet multiplexing signal are inputted from the switch section 3 to a signal multiplexing and separating circuit 4 as a signal A included in the frame. This signal A is separated into a packet multiplex signal transmitting signal B and a channel multiplex signal transmitting signal C at a signal separation section of the circuit 4. The signals B, C are applied to desired terminals via a packet common section 5a and a time slot multiplex common section 6a. The signals B, C from the terminals are multiplexed at a signal multiplex section of the circuit 4 and applied to the switch section 3. The interference between the multiplex signals is eliminated and the multiplex signals are transmitted efficiently. |
