PURPOSE:To make it possible to calculate the concn. of a particle accurately in a simple structure, by providing a cell having a fine orifice provided to the part thereof and immersed in a sample liquid, a deteting means for detecting the passage of the particle through the fine orifice provided to the cell to output a pulse signal and an operation means for calculating the concn. of the particle by the pulse signal outputted from the detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A bottomed cylindrical tube 22 and a second electrode 26 are immersed in diluted blood 1 accommodated in a sample container 2. In this state, a pump 24 is drivent to introduce the diluted blood 1 into the bottomed cylindrical tube 22 through a fine orifice 20 while a first electrode 23 arranged in the bottomed cylindrical tube 22 is immersed in the diluted blood 1. A pre-amplifier 27 starts the detection of the resistance value of the diluted blood 1 in the fine orifice 20 by the electrodes 23, 26 and a signal is outputted each time the particle 21 is passed through the fine orifice 20. The output signal from the pre- amplifier 27 is inputted to a comparator 28 to be compared with a preset function value while the outputs of a first counter 29, a second counter 30 and a third counter 31 are inputted to an operation part 32 which in turn operates the concn. of erythrocyte to issue the result of operation to a display part 33. |
