PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic characteristic of a magnetic tape, etc. by making the axis of easy magnetization of magnetic particles easy to orient in the perpendicular direction. CONSTITUTION:A base film 2 having an undried coating film 4 between opposed N-S magnets 50 and 50. A yoke 10 for erasing the diamagnetizing field is mounted on the derivation side of the film 2 between the magnets 50 and 50. Since the diamagnetizing field released from the magnets 50 is absorbed and attenuated by the yoke 10, the film 2 having the undried coating film hardly receives the adverse influence of the diamagnetizing field and the orientation in the perpendicular direction by the central magnetic field is held satisfactorily. |
