PURPOSE:To enhance detecting accuracy, by concentrating magnetic flux at a point in the longitudinal direction of an iron core, and obtaining a displaced position based on the difference between the detected values of facing coils. CONSTITUTION:A core wire is sent into an abrasion resisting painting nozzle 1a of a nozzle holder 1 through a core wire guide 2. In synchronization with the sending, a coating material is compressed to the direction of a conical hole of a die head 3. Thus, the coating material is compressed and formed on the outer surface of the core wire at the painting nozzle 1a. A covering electrode is protruded through a ceramic cylinder 4 (in the direction of Z). Cross shaped holes are provided in a coil holder 9, with the axial center of the ceramic cylinder 4 as a center. Position detecting cores 111-114 of magnetic bodies are inserted in these holes. The cores pierce through the coil bobbin, around which detecting coils 121-124 are wound. An electric processing circuit obtains a signal indicating the amount of the position based on the detected voltages. |
