PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for read to obtain quickly an exposure factor control data, by providing an interface circuit, which reads data transmitted in serial and converts it to parallel data, and a microcomputer, which performs the exposure operation on a basis of read data, in the camera body side. CONSTITUTION:In the camera system where data is outputted from a camera accessory to the camera body side in series and a microcomputer 1 provided in the camera body side performs the exposure operation on a basis of this serial data, serial data from the camera accessory is read and is converted to parallel data by an interface circuit IF. Therefore, it is sufficient if data designated by an address designating means is read in serial, and the operation of designation is omitted to shorten the serial data read time, and the microcomputer designates and reads desired data out of data, which is preliminarily read and converted to parallel data by the interface circuit, in parallel to perform the exposure operation to shorten the read time. |
