PURPOSE:To obtain a hardenable compsn. high in hardening speed, and capable of forming an image superior in adhesion to a base when used as a photoresist, by using 2-methyl-1,3-propylene glycol dialkyleneoxide ether represented by a specified general formula, as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:2-methyl-1,3-propylene glycol constituting 2-methyl-1,3-propylene glycol dialkyleneoxide ether represented by the general formula (1) has a polarity effect due to the electron expelling action of a methyl group linked to the second carbon atom, a releasing effect of the hydrogen atom covalently bonding to the same carbon atom that the methyl group bonds to, and a high cross-linking effect of the terminal epoxy groups of the dialkyleneoxide ether. In the formula, R and R' represent 1-3C linear or branched alkylene group respectively. |
