<p>PURPOSE:To input and output commands and messages in Japanese, by providing a means for English-Japanese and Japanese-English conversion of the command and messages between an information processing system and an output device. CONSTITUTION:When an operator operates the request key of a typewriter device 3, the information processing system 1 outputs a message READY. This message is transferred through a transmission and reception part 6 to an English-Japanese conversion request part 7 to discriminate the necessity of conversion to Japanese and then transmitted to a conversion dictionary part 8 to output a Japanese message on a display 4. When the operator inputs the next editing request PROG1 NEW PL1 SCAN from the typewriter device 3 after preparations are completed, the necessity of conversion to English is discriminated and the command is transferred to the conversion dictionary part 8 to send a corresponding English command to the information processing system 1.</p> |
