Taper clamping arrangement with auxiliary ring

A taper clamping arrangement for connecting a hub to a shaft. It comprises tapered elements which can be displaced axially relative to one another via a tapered surface by means of clamping screws, are designed as taper rings or taper discs and both have axial threaded holes which open towards the same side. Mounted on this side, in front of the threaded holes of both interacting tapered elements, is an auxiliary ring which has a different configuration on the two sides due to the formation of a collar in front of only one tapered element. The collar can be made integrally on the auxiliary ring or consist of a separate element. In the two work phases, "clamping" and "release", the auxiliary ring presents different axial bearing surfaces to the tapered elements, as a result of which it can be both clamped and released by means of the clamping screws, which can be screwed on the one hand into one tapered element and, on the other hand, into the other, and the clamping screws are in both cases under tension.
