A button extension type letter inputting method using a touch screen is provided to move fingers in the shortest distance and use a minimum number of buttons to maximize input efficiency so as to input Korean letters, Alphabet, numerals and symbols easily and rapidly. Ten consonants are respectively set to ten numeral buttons as representative consonants and arranged according to the order of Korean consonants. An input mode change function is set to the star button and a space function is set to the sharp button. When one of the ten consonant buttons is pushed, new letter buttons related to the corresponding consonant are generated at the top, bottom, left and right of the corresponding button. A numeral allocated to the corresponding button is generated at the top of the corresponding button and voiced sounds related to the corresponding consonant are generated on the left of the corresponding button. A representative vowel is generated at the bottom of the corresponding button and another representative vowel is generated on the right of the corresponding button. |
