PURPOSE: A system and a method for updating the user data of a digital device are provided to update and synchronize the user data respectively stored in a plurality of digital device with each other. CONSTITUTION: A user data updating system is respectively installed to a desktop computer(1) and a cellular phone(3). The system comprises a user data memory(23) prepared in a hard disk in order to store the user data, a data communication part(21), which is a USB(Universal Serial Bus) port, for transmitting the user data, and a controller(20) comparing the update information from the counterpart digital device with the update information in the memory(23) by requesting the update information of the counterpart digital device through the data communication part(21) and requesting the user data transmission through the data communication part(21) in case that the update information of the counterpart digital device is closer to the latest date. |
