Wig fastening using remnants of natural hair still present on the wig wearer, by means of a nylon cord demarcating the toupet region of the wearer's head, which cord is threaded into tubular sections distributed at distances of about 2 cm over the circumference of the wearer's head, the tubular sections being fixed relative to the wearer's head in a manner known per se by residual hair strands inserted in the sections and by spreading-spring keys.
