摘要 <p>PURPOSE:The titled solid ink, containing a colorless or light-colored dyestuff precursor, an acidic substance capable of developing the color of the precursor in heating and a compound which is a solid at ordinary temperature and meltable in heating, and capable of developing the color only in the heated part in the heat-sensitive transfer thereof to a base material without developing the color in the cold state. CONSTITUTION:A solid ink containing 2-40wt% colorless or light-colored dyestuff precursor, preferably a fluoran type compound, 4-60wt% acid substance capable of developing the color of the precursor in heating, e.g. bisphenol A, and 50-90wt% compound which is a solid at ordinary temperature and meltable in heating, preferably paraffin wax. The above-mentioned solid ink is brought into contact with a base material, e.g. paper or a synthetic resin film, and heated from the outside, e.g. with a hot pen heated at 80-400 deg.C at 0.2-1kg/ cm<2> pressure, to fix the resultant colored molten ink on the ink side of the base material to carry out the heat-sensitive transfer recording.</p>
