SUSTAINED RELEASE PREPARATION FOR TISSUE REGENERATION THERAPY

[PROBLEMS] To provide a microsphere comprising the substance mentioned in the description, which has a sustained release period of about two to four weeks after administration, enables to encapsulate the substance a high content, can reduce the initial burst of the substance, and enables to maintain the optimal effective blood level of the substance during a sustained release period. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a microsphere comprising the substance and copoly(lactic/glycolic acid) (PLGA), wherein 1) PLGA is contained in an amount of about 3 to 10 parts by weight per 1 part by weight of the substance; 2) the microsphere has an average particle diameter of about 20 to 50 µm; and 3) PLGA has a weight average molecular weight of about 10,000 to about 50,000 and has a [lactic acid]/[glycolic acid] ratio of about 75/25 to about 50/50. It is found that the microsphere can promote the production of various endogenous repair factors and is therefore useful for various types of tissue disorders.
