PURPOSE:To improve the thermal efficiency and productivity of a titled device, by performing cleaning, vacuum brazing and cooling of assembled materials in good order in a bell jar that has volume large enough to cover the materials. CONSTITUTION:Assembled materials 13 for a heat exchanger made of Al are fixed on a stand 8, and a bell jar 3 is lowered onto a base plate 1. After closing an inlet valve and opening an exhaust valve and evacuating to vacuum, some quanitity of inert gas is introduced from a valve 12. When AC is applied to the primary coil 4, large low-voltage current is induced in the bell jar 3 which is a secondary coil, and a copper bar 7, and heat is generated rapidly in the bell jar 3. Under this condition, high voltage is applied between the materials 13 and bell jar 3 to cause ionic bombardment. Oil and moisture on the surface of the materials 13 are removed and collected in a trap 10. Then, supply of high voltage is stopped, and the temperature of the bell jar 3 is further raised, and members of the materials 13 are brazed to each other. The materials are then cooled by introducing an inert gas, and pressure is restored to atmospheric pressure. |
