PURPOSE:To enable to operate an internal-combustion engine continuously even if some trouble is caused with an operation variable detecting means or an arithmetic means until they are repaired completely, by adding reset circuits and encoders to a conventional apparatus known heretofore. CONSTITUTION:Encoders 6a, 6b are disposed between a crank angle detecting means 1 and a comparing means 2. Further, reset circuits 28a, 28b are disposed respectively between a valve opening timing register 22 and an equality detecting circuit 31 and between a valve closing timing register 23 and an equality detecting circuit 32. With such an arrangement, an internal-combustion engine can be operated continuously even if some trouble is caused with an arithmetic means 4 or an operation variable detecting means 5, by driving a fuel valve 3 at a standard injection timing encoded in the encoder 6a by turning on a reset switch 28. |
