PURPOSE:To accomplish flexible control of fuel supply, by providing an electronically controlled by-pass mixture passage in a carburetor. CONSTITUTION:A by-pass passage 20 is formed in an intake passage 1, and a subsidiary throttle valve 22 and a sub-venturi 23 are provided in the by-pass passage 20. Air is supplied from an bleed-air passage 21 to a slow jet 24 while fuel is ejected from a subsidiary nozzle 25. The subsidiary throttle valve 22 is driven by a motor 26. On the other hand, fuel is supplied via a passage 28 and the slow jet 24 is controlled by a solenoid valve 27. The subsidiary throttle valve 22 is operated by driving the motor 26 while controlling the output of a potentiometer according to the position of a lever 31. Further, the opening of the slow jet 24 is determined by controlling the solenoid valve 27 according to the output of a control circuit to which operational conditions of an engine are applied. |
