PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of cracking, by fitting a pipe-like joint fitting having a large coefft. of thermal expansion onto the cylindrical part of a flange-like joint fitting, and welding or brazing the clearance between the same thereby compressing the intermetallic compd. in the clearance with the shrinkage in the stage of cooling the pipe-like joint fitting. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical part 21c is formed of a through-hole 21a and an annular groove 21b in the central part on one side of a flange-like joint fitting 21 consisting of a titanium material or the like. On the other hand, a pipe- like joint fitting 22 consisting of a stainless steel material or the like is fitted onto the part 21c of the fitting 21 and a compressive effect is applied to the compd. in the clearance 4 between both fittings 21 and 22 by the large shrinkage of the joint 22 having a large coefft. of thermal expansion at the point of the time of cooling after welding or brazing. |
