Method and arrangement for printing forms

For printing forms (F) at a word-processing station, markings (M) are shown on a display unit (AE) especially on a screen (BS), these markings being assigned to the coordinates (K) of the points at which printing is to appear on the form (F). After the form (F) has been completed on the display unit (AE), the form is printed, as a result of which the markings (M) are replaced by null characters and are not printed. The coordinates (K) are recorded by using an identical form (F) which is either printed with a stored coordinate pattern (KM) or over which a film bearing the coordinate pattern (KM) is laid. <IMAGE>
