Hitherto, walls have been built up from individual blocks using mortar. However, a wall can become slightly crooked as a result. In contrast according to the invention a wall bond system which, if desired, does without mortar is proposed. This wall bond system always produces straight walls. It consists of a masonry block having holes in at least one bed joint and a pin or stirrup for insertion into the holes of masonry blocks lying against one another. <IMAGE>
